I am new to DCA, what do I need?
Unexpired identification (Driver’s license, state ID), social security cards for you and dependents, previous year tax return, W2(no paycheck stubs), 1099’s, 1098’s, 1095-A Marketplace insurance, childcare information, business information (financial statement), etc.
How much do you charge?
Information is found in the client intake sheet.
How long does it take to receive my refund?
Usually 8- 15 days. Less than 21 days per IRS.
How do I pay the preparation/bank fees?
All fees are deducted from return through tax bank TPG. Fees will be deducted from the federal or state, whichever deposits first.
What if I owe taxes, how do I pay preparation/bank fees?
Fees will need to be paid directly. Contact DCA for more details.
How do I check my refund status?

I see different bank information on my return instead of mine, why is this?
All returns will have the tax bank TPG information. This is the process, and all funds will be directed to the correct account.
Where can I find a copy of my tax return?
All copies of tax returns will be uploaded to the portal.
How long do you keep my tax information?
We are required to keep tax documentation for up to 3 years.
If none of my information has changed do I need to complete the client intake sheet?
Yes. It is required to complete. If no information has changed sheet will skip you to the end of form.
If I entered the wrong bank information, can it be changed?
Depending on where in the process of filing, it is possible to change. Otherwise, it would be rejected and DCA will be able to print at home office.
Will my refund be deposited to DCA account?
No! DCA will never receive any direct deposits of tax refunds.
Does DCA give free tax estimates?
No. There is a charge for tax estimates. The amount will go towards the total fee.
What if I need to file an extension?
Complete client intake sheet. We require a $150 deposit for filing a tax extension, which will be applied to your total due. If you wait until after April 8, 2024, the deposit will go up to $300, so let’s get ahead of this together!
